Step 1: Access the BIOS

  1. Restart Your Computer:

    • Save any open work and restart your computer.
  2. Enter the BIOS:

    • As your computer begins to boot, press the Delete key repeatedly until you enter the BIOS setup. On some systems, you might need to press F2 or F10, but Delete is common for ASUS motherboards.

Step 2: Locate the EXPO Profile Setting

  1. Switch to Advanced Mode:

    • If you are in the EZ Mode (the basic interface), press F7 to switch to Advanced Mode for more options.
  2. Navigate to the AI Tweaker Tab:

    • Use the arrow keys or your mouse to select the AI Tweaker tab at the top of the BIOS screen. This is where you’ll find settings related to overclocking and memory profiles.
  3. Find the EXPO Setting:

    • Look for the EXPO (Extended Profiles for Overclocking) option within the AI Tweaker tab. This may be labeled as DRAM EXPO Profile, Memory EXPO Profile, or simply EXPO.

Step 3: Enable the EXPO Profile

  1. Select the EXPO Profile:

    • Click on the EXPO option or highlight it with the arrow keys, then press Enter.
  2. Choose a Profile:

    • If there are multiple EXPO profiles available, you’ll see a list to choose from. Select the desired EXPO profile (usually Profile 1 for standard settings) by pressing Enter.
  3. Confirm the Settings:

  1. Save Your Changes:

    • Press F10 to save the changes and exit the BIOS. A prompt will appear, showing the changes you’ve made (like the memory frequency and timings). Confirm by selecting Yes or pressing Enter.
  2. Restart Your Computer:

    • Your computer will reboot with the EXPO profile enabled, which optimizes your memory performance according to the selected profile.

Step 5: Verify EXPO Profile is Active

  1. Check System Stability:

    • Once the system has rebooted, it’s a good idea to check system stability by running memory-intensive applications or a stress test tool like MemTest86 or Prime95.
  2. Confirm in System Information:

    • You can also verify that the EXPO profile is active by checking your system’s memory information. Right-click on the Start button, select System, and check the installed RAM details. Alternatively, use software like CPU-Z to see detailed memory settings.
